The medium of instruction at The Sanskar Valley Public School, Petlawad is bilingual as per NEP 2020 i.e., up to class V students will be taught in both Hindi & English. The medium of instruction from classes VI to XII will continue to be English. The Pre-Primary section follows the Early Childhood Education system which is a corollary of both Montessori and the Kindergarten methods of teaching. The academic programme defines exposure and experiential learning, ingrained in the prescribed course material.
The school believes in smart classes and therefore, “TeachNext. SMART Classes” are provided in TSVPS to enhance a vivid-learning environment. The school enables a wide exposure with hands-on projects, sports, cultural activities, literary activities, excursions, computers and community service aiming towards holistic development.
Choice of Subjects
• Sanskrit is a compulsory subject from class VI to VIII.
• Classes XI & XII: The school follows the CBSE pattern and offers the following choices at the senior secondary level:
1. Science with Maths
2. Science with Biology
3. Commerce
The school reserves the right to withdraw a subject if the criterion (minimum no. of students) is not met. The school also reserves the right to exercise its discretion in the matter of choice of subjects.
